Children's Storytime in the Park
Wednesday, July 5th to Wednesday, July 26th, 10 a.m. at Fenwick Island Gazebo

Bocce Ball
Wednesday, July 19th to Thursday, October 12th, 6 pm until dark at Amenities area next to basketball court
Games of Bocce Ball with neighbors, every Wednesday and Thursday evening starting at 6pm. No prior experience necessary! See you there!
 
Water Aerobics
Wednesday, July 19th to Friday, September 8th, 9 a.m. at Refuge Pool
Water Aerobics will be held at the pool on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All are welcome to attend the one-hour sessions.
 
Adult Pool Party
Sunday, August 27th
New Orleans Jazz Festival. Details to follow when available.

The Pool is open daily for general swimming from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Water Aerobics is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings at 9 a.m.
 
Results of Community Vote on the Proposed Controlled Deer Reduction
Due to the very high interest in the outcome of the recent community vote regarding the question of a controlled deer hunt, the Board has decided not to wait, as originally planned, until the July 22nd HOA meeting to announce the results. Consequently, you will find the results below. The process, as provided in the letter that was mailed to all homeowners on June 4, 2017, allowed for 1 vote per household, with electronic ballots sent to all homeowners with a valid email address on file. Printed ballots were sent through the U.S. mail to everyone who did not have an email address on file.

As the decision was to be based on a simple majority of those who responded, the community has decided to REJECT the proposed controlled deer hunt.

Geese Capture & Removal
On July 5th Wildlife Services personnel managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture were on Hidden Bay Drive to capture geese. More information as to the results of the goose removal to follow.

HOA Board Meeting Schedule for 2017
The Board has established the following meeting schedule for the balance of 2017. ALL HOMEOWNERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
 
2017 Annual Meeting - Sat., Nov. 4th, 10 a.m. at Swann Keys 
4th Quarter Meeting - TBD (Will be announced as soon as possible)
 
Yard Waste Pick-up Reminder
Yard waste pick-up is scheduled every other week on the Tuesday after "recycle Monday". Remember to put your bags out the night before as they come very early in the morning. Stickers may be purchased from Seascape Property Management for $2.00 each. Please complete the Yard Waste Sticker form and mail it per the instructions on the document.
 
Please see the attached document for information about being aware and prepared in case of evacuation due to weather or other emergency.
 
Household Battery Recycling: Please continue to utilize the collection bucket located in the foyer of the Clubhouse. Please see this document for more information.
 
Mobile Patrol Security: If you have an emergency please call 911. If you see someone acting suspiciously or who may be trespassing, please also report this to the Bayside Security Patrol Dispatcher at 302-384-6542 so that they will have a record of the incident. From their vehicles, Bayside Security Patrol Officers can monitor the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center. During normal business hours, please also report the incident to the HOA Property Manager, Jonathan Poole at SeaScape PM, 302-645-2222.
