Pond Muskrat Trapping
Please be aware that Envirotech, the HOA's pond maintenance contractor, will be setting muskrat traps in several of the ponds in The Refuge. The animals are causing damage to the pond shores and are capable of damaging the underwater components to the pond bubbler systems. The traps will be marked with a stake and flag, and are required to be checked daily. Please stay clear of these traps if you happen to walk near the pond edge. The trapping will occur for approximately 30 days of February 5.
The Refuge Garden Club is excited to announce our name change. We are now known as the Dirickson Creek Area Garden & Environmental Club. The name change more adequately reflects our mission "to have fun while increasing our knowledge and understanding of environmentally responsible garden & lawn care." It also represents the importance of partnering with our neighborhood communities to help protect our environment.
